Perfect replacement

My cabin air filter was so clogged with leaves, dust and dirt that the air conditioning started to shut down. I replaced the filter with these and the air is perfect. The smell is really fresh. The air conditioning works great now. I had no idea that a cabin filter could cause the air conditioning to stop working properly. Now I know it and will change it much more often.

The installation on my 2005 Honda Civic LX was done in .

Installed in less than 5 minutes on my 2005 Honda Civic LX. You have to reach behind the glove box to change BOTH filters, yes your car has two filters next to each other. You can skip the second one if you're not careful. As for the product, I can't say I noticed a difference, but the old ones were badly worn and full of dirt.

Contains 2 filters in a "Pack of 1 " order

In case anyone is confused - as of the date of this review August 2021 my "Pack of 1" is Order included 2 filters. I needed 2 filters but couldn't figure out if I need to buy 2 packs or 1 pack because there are usually 2 filters in a box when you buy them from a car store. And your car needs 2 filters, not just one. Revain images are incorrect showing a package labeled Cont [Contains] 1 pc. But the pack I bought says "continued from 2 pieces" just like the picture posted by another reviewer of…

Without carbon. c Air Filter and Accessories

Filter Change on 2004 Civic and 2006 Acura RSX Super easy. The ones I received didn't have the carbon as shown in the picture. Mine was just white. The availability of carbon was an important factor in the decision to purchase a filter. I didn't notice this until I changed the filter on my 2009 Accord. The one I bought from Spearhead was carbon and looked just like the picture. I don't like feeling cheated for only $14. I would just go with the TYC brand for over half the price if I didn't care

Please change your cabin filter annually!

I was helping a friend and noticed the car smelled damp. It was an older 2006 CRV, so he didn't put much stock in it at first. It turned out that the cabin filter (which, like most, is behind the glove box) was completely clogged with dirt, since maybe it hadn't been changed in ages? To make matters worse a mouse/rodent made its way and sat in the air intake that led to the filter and so had to clean it thoroughly after removing the old filter which looked like it could planted in a vegetable…

Fits, works and the price is right! - Updated 1/18/2013

Honda dealers charge about $11 ($22 plus labor) to replace these filters. The Fram filters cost $14 a pair, fit together perfectly and took less than 5 minutes to install following the detailed and complete instructions. In addition, Fram filters are also impregnated with activated carbon and baking soda (OEM filters are plain paper); This can help freshen the air and remove some of that musty air-conditioning smell - time will tell. All in all a great product at a good price. And of course, as

Much better than OEM, easy install, clean air

I have used OEM cabin air filters, Wix and Fram air filters in our 2007 Honda Element. I keep an eye on this filter because it catches a lot of bugs, dust, and road debris. Because the filter is in your dash, these items sit and collect, getting wet when it's raining and humid, and contributing to a lingering musty smell in the air conditioner (tropical rainy conditions in Hawaii for me). I recently saw this item on "WallyWorld" and decided to buy it here for price reasons. While regular…
