Clump City: Avoid at All Costs

My analysis of this mascara showed that it leaves a chunky and clumpy finish, making it almost impossible to achieve the desired look. The only positive aspect of this product is that it does have a long-lasting formula that doesn't smudge easily. However, this is not enough to compensate for the disappointment of the messy application. Save your money and look elsewhere for a quality mascara.

Pros
  • Intensely black formula for dramatic lashes
Cons
  • Dries out quickly and requires frequent reapplication

Paying for a Name: Eyes

When I entered the store I was wearing glasses and the way the girl behind the counter applied mascara to me looked amazing. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get my lashes to look the same. I think it's more of a technique than a product because it feels like regular mascara to me.

Cons
  • Some Trouble

I've tried them all

At my age (let's say 40) I've tried every brand and type of mascara on the market. First I got Chanel Inimitable Intense as a sample. I LOVE IT! No lumpy, sloppy mush. Makes my lashes longer and thicker! What more does a woman want? Maybe a lower price but I'm sure I'm paying for the name. But it's worth it!

Cons
  • Slightly torn
