I can usually download around 4 Mbps. I've seen faster and slower but that's average. The download speed is capped at 1Mbps, so that's the maximum you'll get. Me and that because my first Clear device suddenly failed. Clear was not helpful in resolving the issue and troubleshooting, the support team was not helpful. I had to resort to buying a new device. However, this new device arrived quickly and setup was quick and easy. I've used it in Baltimore and New York. It even picks up a signal when I ride the LIRR from Long Island to Manhattan!
