🕯️ 4-Pack of Color Drip Candles (Total of 8 Candles) Review

Bought these for a bottle of Chianti I had. My parents put these candles in these bottles when I was little. The candles drip well, but they seem to "splash" some wax outside of the bottle, so I had to scrape the dry wax off my counters. But it still looks good dripping down the bottle.

They are awful and even the photos in the extra and outer packaging do not reflect what the candles look like! They are mostly white with small bits of colored wax buried along their length. After burning 6 candles on a bottle, the bottle will appear predominantly white with slight faint streaks of color. Really upset about that!

They were purchased and used in the 70's style decoration of the 45th Reunion Party. We made 30 central elements. The light in each of them was on throughout the event - from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The colors of the candles were so beautiful. I think it's good that the battery can be replaced when it's empty. Great product for the price paid

We love them. I had trouble finding drip candles in the store and they were pretty cheap per candle. They drip well/evenly and the colors are good, a rainbow from each candle. White candles contain pieces of colored wax, so they drip different colors as they burn. These photos are after burning 3-4 candles.

I like drip candles, I use Chianti wine bottles, drip the wax on them! Usually around 8 or 10 suppositories per bottle. I've burned dozens of batches of drip candles. Note that some batches have more of a color or two than others! Also some batches have lighter colors than others! Do you have a bottle from a few years ago, the colors are dull, not as shiny as new?

They were popular when I was very young, in the 60's. A bottle of Chianti covered in multicolored wax on the sides sat on many dining tables and I really liked the look. I ordered them to enjoy the nostalgia and beauty of this old look and the boy was disappointed. The first few drops of paint were a nice bright red. Hooray! As the candle burned out, the wax turned to dull, dull shades of pale sadness. Chunks of hardened wax that had accumulated on the walls of the bottle continued to detach…

It's funny, and bottom line I like them, but I don't like them. I was keen to make a small arrangement using empty wine/spirit bottles, which I did. But since the order of colors in each candle is identical, at least in the pack of 8 candles I received, they all look the same. Yes, you can vary the burn time to get a slightly more personal effect, but when all the bottles are placed together it just starts to distort into a muddy red/pink color.
