Type of review

I had a 100% water stain. The product barely lightened the stain even after a few uses. it smells like the diluted vinegar you see on many crafts. I use the rest to try and remove water stains but it takes a lot of work and this product doesn't work as advertised. I also have Aticama seats that are difficult to clean and maintain. can other aniline leathers be used? I contacted the company before ordering. The product does not absorb the color from the spot if you do not use it several times.

It's difficult but it works

So when I first used it it didn't work. I wrote and submitted a one star review. Then I decided to try again as I won't get it back anyway. It turns out how you use it matters. I've tried several methods, but this is by far the most effective method: Dampen a microfiber cloth while using the product. Apply to the contaminated area using circular motions and pressure. Repeat the 2 steps above until the spots and surrounding area become noticeably darker. no water stains visible at this stage…

Update: This actually works with dog saliva!

While this product may work on other stains I have not been able to remove dog saliva stains from two leather armchairs. Such stains are not easy to remove but I was hoping this product could do it. Update: I had two very expensive leather armchairs that my dog likes to sleep in, but they were ruined by his spit/spit. Both chairs were covered with saliva stains that were several years old.
