I bought this jacket in preparation for the HORRIBLE east coast winter we had. This jacket was very warm and the "suit" thermal material on the inside really helped to keep the heat in. I also really like that I can layer the jacket on top of each other. I've worn it alone, over a lighter sweatshirt, and in the coldest seasons over a lighter sweatshirt and UNDER another jacket. My Kaleidaslope II jacket is beautiful. I love that it bounces my heat back on me to keep me warm and also wicks moisture to keep me warm and cozy. The thumb hole cuffs can be folded up if you don't want to pull them over your thumb. I have found that I cannot use my thumb bandages when wearing gloves as the gray cloth cuts into my thumbs and causes pain.
