Description of Converter DROK Transformer Regulator Stabilizer

DROK buck conveter board has very stable output, input range is DC 4~40V and output range is DC 1.25~37V, please make sure the input voltage should be higher than output voltage at least 1V. Can be used for many electronic projects. Analog Control: using a mini screwdriver to increase or decrease output voltage by adjusting the screw, clockwise to step up voltage and counterclockwise to step down voltage. Press the button next to voltmeter to test input voltage or output voltage. Green LED lights on when testing output voltage; red LED lights on when testing input voltage. The voltage reducer is with input and output voltage measurement error calibration function; Wiring terminals require no soldering iron and create convenient usage. Press the button for 1 to 4 seconds, voltmeter would be shut off when releasing your hands; the voltmeter is very accurate.

Check this first with the built-in fuse.

Make sure you bench test them before installing anything major. 1 worked without problems, the other had some kind of direct short after the cap and blew out all the smoke immediately. The one that actually works works flawlessly and runs for days without a break by driving a small fan.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Ok

Great buck converter. Easy to use.

Works great. I had to drop the voltage from 24V to 12V to use the Noctua fan in my Ender 3 Pro. That helped. Very easy to use. Simply turn the brass screw until it reads the desired output voltage. You can press the button to switch between input and output.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Ideal. Exactly what I needed

Perfect. Exactly what I needed. I like that the screw potentiometer isn't overly sensitive and it's easy to set just what you need. I first tried connecting this to a #12 solid and that put too much pressure on the connections. Broke off a small junction box from the circuit board. I don't think it was done cheaply, I pushed him too hard. It was very easy to heat up the solder and reset the junction box. Clean, well-marked cardboard. very good

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Negative gift

Works to power LEDs

Very good product. I bought this to run some LEDs in my car to drop 14v when the car is running on 12v. Also, I chose the analogue version because some people said that the digital version can have an unstable voltage for a second when switched on, which can damage the electronics connected. This analogue version starts at exactly the voltage it is set to. I also like the display that shows the input or output voltage. The only thing I would add is a switch to turn off the device.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some issues

An indispensable article for sensitive car electronics!

This product performs exactly as described and intended. I had problems where voltage fluctuations in a customer's truck damaged the motor with the fiber optic light. After installing this device I was able to set the output voltage to exactly 12V and the problem was solved. Whether the car is off, cranking, idling, accelerating or decelerating, no matter the input voltage changes from 10.5V to 14.5V, I always keep the output stable at 12V (2A). Good product

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No performance

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't

I bought this board to convert 12 volts to 9 volts and it worked great initially. About a week later it stopped working and was only outputting 12 volts. The adjustment knob does not work. I've always shot it very lightly and slowly. I have 5 others that work great. When I contacted DROK about this issue, they gave me a task to do 42 steps to get it working. This is a physical issue with the adjustment knob. They have to stand on their products. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I will add later

Reduced current at lower volts but still great.

This is for the LM2596 DC buck converter with LED indicator. Not for adjustable power device. I bought this glow plug control unit on an old Cox glow plug engine that I was given as a gift. I am using a 12V 5Ah SLA battery and would like to use it at 1.5V to light a glow element. I found that at 1.5V it could only output about 1.75A, but I was able to increase the voltage until I got 2.5-3A through the bulb and everything worked fine. The voltage display I calibrated read about 2.8V. I…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Upgradeable
