Wire came loose from rubber

VERY disappointed in this product. It only took a few months and the wire broke loose from the rubber piece that rests on the frame of the glasses. These products are designed for people who go outside to put on their sunglasses. Guess what? We don't sit on the sidelines, we are active athletes. This product should be more durable and in no case should the wire come out of the rubber. They claim it's a "pull-off" security feature. In this case, increase the voltage slightly. Mine broke at the…

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Minor issues

Rubber Disintegrates into Resin

As all the other reviews say, Costa needs to find a better upgrade material. That's enough for one season. I have tested this product over and over again and after the third time Costa should have it replaced under warranty. But the point is not only in the rubber on the clamps, but also in the shadow. Like clockwork, you have to change the rubber bands on the frames and latch every year. Without their good lenses I would have dropped out.

Pros
  • Gradient Lens
Cons
  • Some Trouble

The first two were fantastic, although I felt they could be weak.

This is my third pair. The first two were fantastic although I felt they might have a weak link where they attach goggles and bends. I've had both for a few years but wish they would last longer. I live in Florida so they are a daily necessity. Well in my estimation they fixed the flex point of the sunglass mounts and now they are better than ever! Very satisfied. I wear very light frames and lenses - the great thing about the ultra-thin and light mount is that it doesn't create unnecessary…

Pros
  • COSTA C-LINE Brace: The Costa C-Line Brace is made from ultra-thin, lightweight, coated wire with a logo to keep your sunglasses in place in and out of the water.
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

What a disappointment this pair of Costa C-Line brackets were

What a disappointment this pair of C-Line mounts were. I made this purchase in September 2017 and here we are in December 2017 with a damaged product. I now realize this is a <$10 purchase, but these clips are responsible for holding over $200 worth of Costa sunglasses in place. I've attached an image so others who are hesitant to purchase this product can see what they get after about 90 days of use. Attention buyers. much luck

Pros
  • The Costa C-Line adjustable bracket is compatible with all Costa sunglasses.
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

So far, so good. Men's

When I started wearing a retainer, I couldn't do without it. Bought to replace a broken Costa holder that another seller had. Thought it would be the same here but they are slightly different and way better. They fit my glasses much better and are actually made in the USA, unlike the previous one which was falsely advertised as such. I think I've been scammed before. I've only been using it for a few days and I can already say it's a definite improvement over the broken one.

Pros
  • Lens width: 145 mm
Cons
  • Style 90

Just right for a cruise, but they do have a few downsides. Firstly the rubber pad is not universal, it fits my oversized Nike sunglasses but is too big for my Ray-Bans. In less than a week, they developed a hole in the rubber piece that slides over their hands. While they still work and you can work around it, I'm sure it will only get worse from there. Unlike other headbands like this one I've had before, they don't adjust around the head for a tighter fit, they have length. Maybe it's good…
