Will not fit fog lamp housing for 2001 GMC Sierra. Fans interfere with housing

Although my replacement for the fog lights is the 880, these bulbs with integrated fans interfere with the fog light housing on my truck. So they really don't fit at all as indicated in the table. I have contacted Cougar but have not received a response. I ended up cutting a larger hole in the back of the fog light housing to fit it. They came with a silicone gasket but when fitted into the fog lamp it was squeezed so badly that you could twist the entire bulb if you really tried so they never…

Great upgrade for my truck

I bought these for my truck and what a difference. I live in the suburbs where snow is part of winter, but when I drove to work and got the boy dressed, it was really white snow. Now to the important things. First, this LED is perfect. The end piece is also larger in diameter than the rest, so pay attention to the space available in the headlight area. If you're looking for super bright but not blinding oncoming traffic, this is the skylight.

If you're looking for super bright but not dazzling oncoming traffic, this number of lumens is the right choice. In terms of brightness, they were perfect. Too bad they lasted a month before one burst. UPDATE: Alice from Cougar Trade contacted me the same day this review came out and stated that the blowout I was having was highly unusual and apologized for the faulty equipment. They are huge and also have a visible fan on the back of each bulb.

. However, I couldn't get them to match no matter what. In fact, they were under such pressure that the keyway on the pear itself broke. After that, I deleted it, admitted I couldn't return it, and ate $40. However, since the fan is open directly on the back, it is fully exposed to moisture at street level.
