Works great for me!

Worked great, my water is very soft and I couldn't raise the pH. This is an excellent material and I've finally found something that works wonders.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A bit torn

Works great for reverse osmosis water set

I am using this salt in my particular Neocaridina aquarium and since I started using this I have noticed an increase in reproduction and hatchling survival.

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons

Not suitable for Neos on Fish & Aquatic Pets

Try salted shrimp instead. This formula only raises KH to 1-2 with a GH of 7-8, making it difficult to maintain PH. If using this on Neo I recommend adding some baking soda to bring the KH to around 4.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Bad instructions!: Aquarium water treatment

The instructions are terrible! You get instructions in the box and on the box, and both have font sizes so small you'll need a microscope to read them! When you're doing it in 15 languages and it's confusing to understand! I'll have to find out how to use it on youtube and let you know if it works!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Empty

Disappoints best on fish and aquatic animals

Added 10 teaspoons per 40 gallons of reverse osmosis water, GH was 6, KH was 2 and pH 8.0 TDS 458. Reverse osmosis water parameters are fine. Maybe I got a bad mix. Repeat the test after 24 hours of ventilation. Disappointed with the results but I will not stress my animals. I could also just use my tap water. There is nothing wrong with the test suite, I use it all the time.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • unreliable

Perfect fit for my hatchery tanks

I bought this for both my Cherry Red Shrimp tanks and my Apistogramma hatchery setup and it works great for all ten setups! I have rare apistograms, pencilfish and shrimp and have had nothing but success with them. It mixes easily with my RO/DI water. Much easier than the main competition in my opinion. Definitely not going back to Salty Shrimp, it's a lot easier to mix up.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Correct parameters, poor results

Good value for money. Restores GH, KH and TDS from RODI water to desired levels. I was originally looking for salted shrimp, but due to time constraints and being a Revain staple, I ended up with this one instead. The seams must be in place. I've only been using it for about a week at the moment, so I'll edit the review if anything is bad. But everyone thought it worked. After several months of testing this particular set of minerals and salts, all the shrimp I placed in reverse osmosis water…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old
