539239 Oil Rubbed Bronze Millbridge Bath Accessories: Towel Ring Review

So I set everything up for the installation and marked the wall for drilling screws. However, to remove the metal plate from the back panel, you need to remove a small screw from the top. It's not like this. I am considered strong and with the right mini slotted screwdriver neither my husband nor I could undo the screw, remove the panel, hang over the screws and reattach the panel. Very disappointed and thrown away.

Works as expected for this price. I don't want and don't want an expensive towel ring so this works great although has the slightest feeling it's cheaper just because of the weight when you install it. This won't be a problem later on as it's durable and comes with redundant mounting hardware that's easy to install and has no falling issues. Perfect for price and functionality, I recommend.

Towel ring looks nice but impossible to assemble. First off, it comes with zero directions. There is nothing on the packaging either. There's a weird mount that you screw into the wall and then attach a towel ring to, which seems like a great idea, but the tiny little screw that attaches the towel ring to the mount (on the underside of the base) is like that small. so tiny that even the tiny specialty screwdrivers my husband uses to assemble computers wouldn't work. If you are looking for an oiled bronze ring that will attach to your existing ring holder then this is it. I didn't want to take our old ceramic ring holders off the wall, but I needed to refresh their look with some paint when I replaced our old antique brass hardware with oiled bronze. The ring was easy to pull out of the mount and just as easy to insert into our ceramic mount. Can't beat the price. And who knows. Maybe one day I'll put all the fittings in. Metal bracket, plastic ring. You will need a precision pan head for installation. I would also recommend your own screws and drywall inserts. I personally wouldn't hang anything heavier than a towel. Didn't expect there to be a plastic part but it makes sense when everything else is double the price. It is no problem for me; I doubt anyone will notice and I bought it for towels.
