There were no very good ratings for this weapon set

There were also no very good ratings for this weapon set. It's turned out really great for me and I have a junkyard, but I've also started repairing and selling some cars. To date I have painted about 5 cars with this gun. Both simple and transparent. I noticed that the base coat applies perfectly. For some reason my clear coat doesn't go as well as my base coat. Although maybe I or the settings. The time will show. But overall a very good set. I've seriously considered buying an IWATA or SATA,

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Useless functions

The guns seem good, not sure if the regulator is included.

Guns look good but not sure if the regulator that comes with it is junk. It appears to be an ATD Tools 6753 regulator and the gauge reads the tank pressure, not the set pressure. I'm fully aware that you have to adjust it while spraying, but it only reads 0psi while spraying. After tweaking and guessing the spray pattern, I was finally able to use it. I bought a DeVilbiss HAV511 regulator and am hoping it performs better. Update 6 weeks: My mug fell apart while spraying the clear coat. Paint…

Worth a look if you are new and interested in basic DIY jobs

My rating is quite subjective as I have very little experience painting cars and related equipment. Heck, that's why I bought this item; It seemed to have a decent amount of desirable features for a relatively cheap price. I have used both guns to paint/protect a new front bumper cover for my Audi S4 and they worked as advertised. Like other reviewers, I had no issues with the included regulator and found the atomizer and coverage adjustment to work well. If I wanted to improve something, it…

Excellent quality for such money

Syringe here for the first time. I watched tons of YouTube videos before I started. The Strelok channel helped me the most. Since I've had this pistol, I've switched to the Tekna prolite. It doesn't spray that well to the trained eye, but it can still produce a glass-like finish once you've dialed in the settings. I would not recommend an air compressor under 9 cfm at 40 psi. I had to upgrade the mines to 60 gallons, which can do 14 cfm at 40psi, and the gun came to life after more air was…

  • Everything is fine!

  • So far so good

Wow! Good spray guns to start with for the price!

Wow! For the price compared to other top end HVLP spray guns this is a nice touch! I bought a DeVibiss Plus+ and I have to say the starting line is the best! Maybe because the settings were easier? But I paint my mowers metallic black and chrome and pearl blue and white. I used both the detail gun and the basic spray gun that came with the kit. A job I love too. He keeps things good. The only negative I can say is that some parts of the spray guns look like plastic and you have to be careful…

Pros
  • Stable Test Results

  • Vulgarity

Poor quality touch up gun, difficult to use with DeVilbis customer service

I have deleted my previous one star review to replace it with my final thoughts on this product. Both guns are junk and not worth the price. Issues included sharp edges on the cups, cups that were VERY dirty on the inside requiring a lot of cleaning, and air leaks. I was finally able to use a larger gun when I sealed the air leaks on the retaining ring with silicone grease. After that, the spray pattern became acceptable; which cured problems with color fading. I have used each pistol only once

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Clarity

Great spray guns for the price!

I've seen several reviews that this gun was made at sea. That's true, and for the price you should expect it. However, this does not detract from the spray pattern you can get with any of these guns. I've been painting cars for 35 years and have used cheap disposable guns right down to my Sata remote control gun system which costs close to 2,000 so I know what a gun should and shouldn't do. The chance to get real lemon when testing your gun with solvent. Put the cup on (only hand tighten if…
