🔍 Diaphragm Double Slits with Varying Distances Review

I bought this because I'm interested in quantum mechanics. This foil and a laser pointer show very precisely the quantum effect, which shows light as a particle and as a wave. This is a big part of the school science project.

Scratching tiny, clean, parallel lines on a candle soot-covered glass slide is a headache, and the smaller and closer you want, the harder it is. They come with four different pairs and are almost perfect. Cons: American 3B Scientific takes a long time to reply to you when you order them. However, this is the only game in town and they really are top notch. It's worth the investment, but take very good care of it because replacing it will be a long and costly wait.

I used this for a simple demonstration of Young's double slit experiment using various cheap 630-650nm red lasers - the aperture is clamped in a plastic frame (3mm thick) and Gives the assembly some rigidity and stable surface for clamping/fastening. There appear to be clear covers on each side of the diaphragm that can be cleaned - I didn't disassemble the part so I'm not sure if they're melting or just there.
