My daughter usually wears 6x or 7 in her pants but 6x was HUGE on her. I saved them for later and ordered a pair in size 6 which fit great. However, she cannot wear other size 6 pants, and some size 7 pants are too tight around her waist.

My daughter is 4 years old and wears 5T/Small (size 5). I was expecting the pants to be a bit big, but I buy them big enough for them to grow. These pants were VERY large for her, and being a plus size for kids, there are no adjustable elastic straps at the waist to accommodate growing children. The quality of the pants has not been checked, but they looked good. Unfortunately we went back because they were too big for the job.

The biggest problem was the size. I ordered a 12 plus which is the size of the other pants that fit my daughter but she was WAY small. She couldn't even close it. I also knew right away when I saw this that she wouldn't like it because they looked like boy pants which she agreed and refused to wear even if they fit. I think if you need it for a school uniform or whatever it might work, just order at least a size or two bigger than she normally wears!
