Expensive but works and easy to install. Not sure if this is an OEM part or not, but it doesn't "look" like a replacement (which is a good thing). My original record lasted two years before the plastic cracked. Let's see how long this one lasts.

After almost three years of daily use, the plastic parts of the water dispenser button broke. After a simple search on YouTube we found an installation video and decided we could solve the problem ourselves. We ordered a dispenser cap, received it within days and installed it in minutes.

Fits our Samsung RF261BEAESG/AA 02 just like the original. Easy to replace, just gently pry around the edges with a thin-bladed tool like a spatula. Insert the new one carefully. These things are only plastic so they broke so be careful.

This replacement looks a little better in design. I've had to replace an original Samsung part twice in 6 years, it seems a little more reliable at the point where the Samsung fails. However, you have to press differently and it seems a little more fiddly to get the water flowing, but it works well.

The water shaft is deeper than my 2009 RF266 and the part will not snap into place. I had to disassemble the trigger and use the old case. Part DA63-07217A2009 Model DA63-04xxxxx (forgot to write and won't take another picture) I believe it will work for other models so 3 stars seems reasonable. The plastic is normally injected, the trigger is compatible.

Samsung doesn't have a repair shop in our area and we thought we didn't have a water dispenser. This piece was a perfect replacement for our fridge and the ease of installation is an understatement.
