Cast lampholders are either too thick or too thin, so you'll need to make a gasket or grind the back of the lamp until the sleeve snaps into place. I bought these for my '94 F150 XLT 5.0L and they look great, but the low beam bulb socket (the one next to the yellow reflector) is too thick; This creates a problem when installing the bulb, as you have to push with almost superhuman strength to get the bulb in properly, and even then the plastic is pushed out, almost breaking the bulb socket. Second, the side marker housing (a separate small square housing) protrudes significantly from the underside when installed in the factory mount, so it…
