various lengths suitable for spare parts

The two I bought are different sizes. One is about 1/4 inch longer than the other. No big deal as long as he doesn't hold the back door open. One of the cables is very taut and the other is sagging. If I switch them to opposite sides it's the same.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Not the same length

Hoping over time it will stretch a bit to match the length of the other side. I bought an old truck that didn't have a belt and got one to give it a little more security. I only had to take two to adjust the length. Seems strong but hasn't been tested with much weight yet. Very easy to install on my 1992 Chevy Silverado.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Fast, dirty and does the job well.

Bought this cord for a 1994 GMC Sierra. It turned on after about 1 minute. It has some flexibility, so it's not difficult to work with. The last one is stable so it doesn't slip out somehow. It ended up being a bit shorter than the other cable I used that I still had on the tailgate. However, I'm pretty sure it's due to the tension of the old cable and they were originally the same length. It was plugged in for the test and I was standing by the back door with another person. It was just 600+…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet
