    Definitely worth your money!

Easy install, probably took an hour per side but I took my truck apart enough to know what to do and what not to do lol. However, so far they have been great and have held up very well, only time will tell. After this installation we went off the road several times and they worked as they should.

    Pros
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Crumpled packaging

Screwed straight. Has worked great for years. That went on until I sold the car. You really need to be mechanically inclined to install. Just because I've stated it's easy to install, it's based on my mechanical ability to get the job done with ease.

    • Absolutely amazing!

    • There are other interesting options.

Come on Ford, make the best design!

Attention if you hear any humming or grinding noise from the front of your Ford F-150 this is the culprit for this noise, just swap both sides on my 2013 Ford F150. Took me about 45 minutes per side with the 2" alignment kit installed. This is very easy to do if you are mechanically inclined. Good quality product!

    Excellent replacement hub assembly

Works great. The old one on my '04 F150 didn't work at all due to water issues in the actuator and solenoid, replaced both and now I don't always have that hub on and spin the axle like that. I couldn't tell this part apart from the original other than that it clearly worked. Easy swap, about 30 minutes, there are some good YouTube videos explaining how to do it.

    • Good but not great

    Buy from DIY companies!

It worked. If you hear a grinding noise in the front hubs, then either one of those actuators is blown (so it's not holding a seal), or the solenoid is burned, or the insanely stupid vacuum hose Ford put on their F150 (fragile, expensive, sucks and NOT "Ford" Strong") broke. I replaced the flimsy vacuum hose with a regular vacuum hose and routed it through the rear firewall. Added two of these. Presto! Expensive labor much cheaper with quality Dorman parts. Exact OEM compliance Pre-lubricated…

    Just what my truck needs

This was a first for me. I can change oil, change tires, change filters, brake pads, windshield wipers, light bulbs and fuses, but the transmission spare part was new. A few quick web searches and I found a video on You Tube. If you can change brake pads, you can. Jack, torque wrench, 13mm, 8mm, 13/16 inch sockets and jack stands, plus brake cleaner, grease, rags and patience is all you need. I swapped sides for the first time following the video on YouTube and it took less than an hour. And…

It was a nice weekend project

Hub drive for 2012 Ford F150 4x4 Lariat. Installed them over the weekend along with new wheel bearings. It was a good weekend project. After I was done I rolled it down the street and it was like night and day. The ride was so smooth and quiet. I only wanted to do one side (driver's side) because that's where the noise was coming from, but I decided to do both sides. I'm glad I did the passenger side as well because when I opened it water flowed out. Indeed, after watching a YouTube video, you…

Fixed my 4WD, a simple fix that can be done in the afternoon

Winter is never the right time to find out that your 4WD isn't working, but of course it always is. Luckily it wasn't a difficult job if you had a good tool set. The only "special tool" you'll need besides a good set of sockets and wrenches is a torque wrench. There are a few nuts that need to be tightened to spec and you don't want the bolt to be too loose. There are some great videos on YouTube that walk you through the whole process. I highly recommend Ford Tech Makuloco's video, he does a…

    Ford buys them too.

I ordered this Dorman 600-105 Latch Actuator for my 2014 F150. It was perfect; but i damaged it during installation. I didn't fully seat the gear into the CV axle splines and the nylon ring broke; this makes the same noise when driving. my fault So I ordered a "real Ford" P/N 7L1Z-3C247 since several reviews on YouTube and others here say "It's a real Ford - no better" or something like that. Well I have news for you, when I received my genuine Ford part it had EXACTLY the same markings - both…
