Description of Dorman 800 675 Conditioning Line Splice

Dorman's Air Conditioning Line Connectors make leaks a distant memory. Save time and money by repairing only the damaged section, not the entire A/C line assembly. Sturdy aluminum construction. Easy to install; for 5/8 inch line with #10 hose. Also available as part of Dorman's A/C line repair kit.

Clamping Pliers?: Tools and Equipment

Two sizes purchased for repair. The press fit and latch are cumbersome to get to work. All other parts of these splice kits fit together normally.

Pros
  • Dorman Air Conditioning Wire Connectors Cause Remote Memory Leaks
Cons
  • Interval

Missing parts TWICE!

Second time this package arrived with no proper fitting! I ordered 2 of these and they actually shipped without the main body! How is that possible.

Pros
  • Easy installation; for 5/8" line with #10 hose
Cons
  • So so

I bought this because of a leaking compression fitting between the hose and manifold fitting. The compression ring manages to crush the aluminum A/C line instead of just crushing the fitting. With multiple attempts to cut the line, once you get 25psi into the system it will leak right through the collar. I have a useless AC line (since I cut it to fit) and no AC in my car. Save your money and use it to buy an industry line, don't try to save money by buying this one.

Pros
  • Save time and money by only repairing the damaged part and not the entire air conditioning line.
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
