F-150 heals well for exhaust and emissions

Had all the starting and handling issues in 2009 f150 which is common. I bought this spare and ALL my problems are gone and the truck drives and the Agsin drives great.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Fits

I fixed my check engine light

was a breeze and took care of my check engine light issue 2010 f-150 5.4 with fuel cap check code when I left the cap unfilled and the truck like new runs and works great can't believe it made a difference

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Hard to say, installing

Fixing problems I've had

Easy installation of a simple part that has had a major impact on issues with a 2010 F150 that I've had for several months. After doing some research online about other people's problems, found some similarities to mine, namely problems after refueling, very poor gas mileage, chugging and stalling when stopping, and generally rough idle. All were fixed after installing this part. In general, the problems disappeared, and the car began to work more "quietly".

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Worked on 2010 F150 Platinum 4WD 5.4 3v

As the title says it worked on my F150 Platinum 2010 4WD 5.4 3v. Installation was very easy. There are some good videos on YouTube on how to install it. Total installation time was about 15 minutes. The only tool you need is an 8mm wrench for the screw that holds the mount in place. I would suggest a ratchet wrench because there isn't much room to maneuver, but you can get by with a regular wrench. I just "broke" the screw with a wrench and was able to remove it by hand after a few turns. The…

Fixed starting problem

It's been about 2 months and still works great. Fits and looks OEM. My wife's Expedition 10 didn't start every time we refueled. Sometimes it takes up to 5 minutes or more to get started. Replaced this and completely solved this problem!

Pros
  • Quality construction - made with quality materials to last
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Direct replacement for 2009 F150

I replaced the PCV solenoid with this Dorman unit on my 2009 F150. 5.4. Although Amazon says it doesn't fit, I got the part number from another site and it does. Installation was easy, only 1 screw to loosen, I changed them in about 5 minutes. This seems to have solved my problem with rough idling and stalling on stops. Time will tell how long the Dorman will last, but the Motorcraft was almost $150, so it was a much cheaper alternative.

Pros
  • Ensure this part fits your car enter make, model and trim level into Amazon Garage
Cons
  • poorly thought out
