Clear general purpose silicone adhesive/sealant. One-component adhesive/sealant that is easy to apply. Non-sag, paste consistency that cures to a tough, flexible rubber. Acetoxy cure system that cures at room temperature when exposed to moisture in the air. Adheres to glass, metal, porcelain, ceramic, painted surfaces, non-oily woods, many plastics and rubbers.

Hot tub caulking tools

One of the flexible lines is leaking from the hot tub. I had spare line and tools to get the job done, but the section was so short I couldn't do it without removing the entire skimmer basket assembly. We were concerned it would be a problem sealing it so it wouldn't leak, but liberal application of this sealant did the job.

The original and still the best

This is the original RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanization) formula. I first used it in the 1970's to mount marine radios on any type of surface and to seal holes in ship hulls exposed to high humidity and salt water. It lasts forever and doesn't harden or crack - years later it still has a rubbery consistency. It has a very strong adhesive bond and gives you plenty of time to work with it before shaping the shell. The problem with too many "silicone" sealants and products is that they start to…

You know you have good things! Cap (reusable) actually works well

Silicone adhesive emits acetic acid fumes when curing; You know you have good things! The (reusable) lid actually works well. My previous batch expired on 11/2013 but things were like new. There's a big difference in how hard you should squeeze when the tube is cold or warm. One use case: I had a rear end and the trunk lid and matching body were warped leaving large gaps.
