Dritz quilting tape

I use Dritz quilting tape in wire wrapping stones to wrap the diameter of the stone tips to make wire wrapped embellishments. It works great and the decorations look great with a very professional look. My wire wrap students also prefer this tape.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Dritz quilting tape

The quilting tape is not sticky enough, the edges kept coming up when quilting. Interestingly, different brands of 1/4" tape actually have different widths - I'm not sure which one is correct, but this one was noticeably different from the other brands of tape I've used.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Love this product

I didn't know it existed until my aunt suggested it to me for hand quilting. I use it as a guide when I want to topstitch 1/4" of a seam. It works great. I also reuse the strip several times before throwing it away. It loses its "tackiness" every time you reuse it , but seems good enough to use about 3 times. I recommend if you're learning to quilt with a 1/4" seam.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
