Easy for a do-it-yourselfer to install

My installation required my shower stall to extend the shower holder with a 2 inch nipple. See photo. If it wasn't for that it would have taken less than half an hour to install and I'm no plumber. However, I'm a do-it-yourself type. It works well and the glue on the bottom seems to be holding up well.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent

  • Almost never

Adhesive Backing Fails on Day 2 / Unacceptably Low Pressure

The bottom portion attaches to the wall with tape. The tape was applied to a clean surface and allowed to dry for 24 hours. The tape failed the second time we used the shower. In addition, the design of the device causes significant friction losses, which leads to a significant drop in pressure in the shower head. The pressure is too low to be used with two heads.

Suitable - Plumbing

When I first tried to install I thought my tiles were thick and I would have to look for a longer pipe instead of the one coming out of the wall. Luckily I saw one of these at a show I was at and I saw that the top fitting flexed enough that it could fit, even if the tile was at least an inch thick. Works great, water pressure is great, easy to adjust, very satisfied. The cleaner loves it.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • High price

Great value for money, best sanitary ware for kitchen and bathroom

We bought the same faucet about 10 years ago and it was starting to look a bit worn (the chrome on the flexible hose was completely gone and the slide brake wouldn't hold ). Spring). Functionally it still worked fine, but we wanted it to look better. After looking at a number of other (more expensive) options, we finally realized that we could still buy this device from Revain. For the price we can replace it every 10 years and be $$$ ahead. I plan to buy a few more for the guest bathroom andโ€ฆ

good, but can break - tub fittings and shower heads

I have a second one. The arm tube coming from the wall will need to be slightly longer to accommodate this assembly. Otherwise, when tightened, the angle will stress the plastic ring that connects it to this lever. Then, on a random day, your wife uses a hand mount and the plastic ring snaps, knocking the entire assembly off the wall (unless you drilled through, not glued, which we didn't). Otherwise we really like it - replace the plastic. Reinforce the ring with a metal insert made of metalโ€ฆ

Not a bad deal for the money and a solution to a common problem

If you have a situation like ours with a standard shower head in a small shower where the shower head is very high and stationary then here it is is a great option. product for money. Now we can adjust and move the hand held shower head up and down the rod. This allows you to adjust the direction of the spray head. You can also remove it from the mount if you wish. You can adjust the shower in 3 ways: Both showers flow at the same time, either only the main shower or only the hand showerโ€ฆ

Works fairly well but slider needs to be much longer

I bought this unit after my daughter had an accident that required a handicapped shower. The shower was easy to install and the adhesive button that holds the bottom of the vertical rail is holding up better than I expected after five months at the time of this writing. My biggest regret is that the slider needs to be at least a foot longer. Our old shower head was installed at a standard height and ran through the drywall just above the rim of the tub. When I installed this, the bottom of theโ€ฆ

SO EASY TO INSTALL - Adding an extra hand held shower head is easy!

Usually you have to lay the lines for the switching/connection valve and from there to the main shower head and the hand unit. You simply screw the entire unit onto the existing shower rail and you're done! It has a built in switch button so you can choose whether water comes out of one or both heads. However, I highly recommend screwing the base permanently rather than using the supplied adhesive. Otherwise you risk the glue coming loose and the stem that connects the handle to the shower head
