could be a better design

there aren't many wires to work with to make the connection and still clamp the wire properly (put your tweezers finger on) and there is NO ZERO water protection! maybe buzzzzzzzzzz when it gets wet!

Pros
  • Terminal screw terminals are designed to hold the wire and prevent snagging
Cons
  • Upgradable

Cord Saver on Plugs

If you've got an extension cord that you've bumped into or otherwise think it's time to get rid of it? NOT 5 minutes and he's back in business. It's well built and worth keeping the old cable. Replace the ends and you'll bring it back to life. I wish I could give this 6 stars.

Pros
  • Vinyl corner plugs have eight possible positions for maximum convenience
Cons
  • Pitfalls

Reliable, unlike other cheaper versions on offer

I bought a set of electrical end caps for a male and female extension cord, a set of 3 wires, FBA_MF2 , and they turned out to be unnecessary. . I bought this more expensive brand and you get what you pay for. Easy installation. Safe installation. Exactly what I needed. If I need to fix another cable, I only buy this brand.

Pros
  • Terminal screws removed - ready to hook up
Cons
  • Not bad but...

It's not in the photo, but there is a cable clamp.

I had a yellow extension with no socket end so I found this. I had no problems with the ground screws or installing the wires. I cut the entire wire insulation to about 3/4" and the individual wire insulation to about 3/8". This was enough to fully insert the stripped ends with no exposed wires. This extender will be permanently attached to the garage fridge power cord, so I don't care about the weather/water resistance.

Pros
  • Terminals in separate chambers for positive insulation of conductors
Cons
  • Some difficulties
