Welds look good. thick material. Others here have complained of issues attaching their safety chains, but mine are holding up well. Fell right into my curt rails.

I have a washer system on my short platform 2021 Chevrolet 3500 and bought an adapter from Curt to use a slider on the fifth wheel. I also have a gooseneck flatbed truck so I bought one to tow. Very durable and much easier to install and remove than a much heavier slider.

After installation I hooked up a 32ft gooseneck and put 15 round bales of hay on it and it has held up great. As you tow the load, corner and the trailer weight shifts, you may hear the plate move a little. I assume there is some play between the rails and the clutch.

Adapter Used once and moved about 4400 pounds of cattle with no problems. It appears/appears to be very well made and very heavy. It fit perfectly on my "rails". The only problem, and I use the term "problem" loosely, is threading the main pins through the holes in the rails and then inserting the bolts through the holes in the main pins because the adapter is so tight. Although I've only had the opportunity to use this item once since purchasing it, it's all I could ask for. Now I can drag a swan neck pendant just by dragging a fifth one. The wheel hitch has been removed so I can hook it up to a gooseneck trailer (yes it fits nicely under a 5 wheel hitch). It's made from heavy gauge steel and the hitch ball is fully welded and has extra support unlike some others I've seen. when purchasing this item.
