Inexpensive insurance for an old steering gear.

Not a repair kit, but enough for my purposes to keep my freshly painted steering column from leaking everywhere. It was fun shooting the entrance seals.

Good for steering input shaft repair Saginaw

Good product! Install my quick translated Saginaw 800 steering. No complaints. My box was an EGR I bought as a power steering upgrade in my '67 Camaro. It was leaking on the input shaft and this kit had the right parts to fix it.

This is a great alternative solution and it worked for me. I replaced the gasket in my 1965 El Camino and also used Lucas Stop Leak power steering fluid. Just in case. I think part of this problem may be related to using the new power steering fluids. They used to use automatic transmission fluid, but Lucas works great. I took the box out…
