Description of πŸ”Œ 4000W SCR Electric Voltage Regulator Dimmer with Fan Thermostat - Temperature & Motor Speed Controller

This item has two-way large power silicon controlled rectifier and the current can be up to 20A, which is a good solution to over current of electric stove wire caused by low resistance during cooling. Convenient to use, simply connect input terminals to either live wire or neutral wire(110V to 220V) and output to load, then rotate knob to control voltage. With a wide voltage regulating range, the output voltage can be easily adjusted from 0V to input voltage. Could be widely used as heat controller on electric stoves, water heaters, light dimmer on lamps, speed controller on small motors, or temperature controller on electric soldering iron, etc. The resistive load power should be less than 4000W, and power should be largely reduced(half or more) for inductive or capacitive loads, otherwise controller and load will burn out.

DOESN'T WORK, A WASTE OF MONEY

No adjustment voltage for everything. 240 VAC input 240 VAC output no matter which way you turn the knob. Swapped the wiring and the voltage stayed the same as the input.

Pros
  • Easy to use, just connect the input terminals to a live or neutral wire (110V to 220V) and the output to a load, then turn the knob to set the voltage
Cons
  • Fast OK

Scrap, damaged, useless

White Don't think I've ever given anything a star but this thing is a piece of junk. He came out of the pocket as if someone had stepped on him as he was bent over all the way. The handle wobbles and the fan keeps turning on and off. I've tried working with him, but it's hopeless.

Pros
  • This product has a large-capacity double-sided silicon-controlled rectifier, and the current can reach 20A, which is a good solution to the electric stove cable over-current problem caused by low resistance during cooling
Cons
  • Minor problems

Buyer warning! suitable for power converters

I already ordered, no problem. But I ordered one 2 weeks ago. It appeared, exploded, and the terminal cover was missing. And it didn't go below 8.2 amps. NFG.I ordered 2 more, they came slapped too. The second will not drop below 6.1 amps. I took photos of the third one and posted them along with this review. It also hit. Not as bad as lat 2.

Pros
  • The power of the resistive load must be less than 4000W, and the power must be greatly reduced (by half or more) for inductive or capacitive loads, otherwise the controller and load will burn out
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
