Instead of running my dehumidifier drain hose through two rooms to a nearly finished drain in the basement, I used a hole saw to drill a hole in the drywall between the both rooms, inserted this grommet and fed the drain hose through it. It looks like a professional permanent solution and has cut the drain hose by many feet. Good, quick and easy solution.

I even cut a hole in my regular desk to prevent the monitor wires from looping through the back. Then I cut one on the side (where the wall is) for the electrical wires. I love this product.

I bought two packs and installed a total of 6 washers for various purposes. They work very well. The installation is very tight with the recommended hole saw size so be prepared to use some elbow grease to get the bushing in, but that's part of what makes this job so good considering it's so secure once installed holds.
