Exactly what I wanted

Easy installation. High quality paint and finish. Perfect for my 30 kW generator. Would have liked to see a vent with a tee so an unused port could be plugged. This reduces the parts count for custom installations.

Pros
  • Vent size: 3/4 NPT with shield
Cons
  • Small parts

Ready to use right out of the box

My original regulator was over 15 years old and still works. I decided it was time to replace it so I ordered this unit. The original controller had an output connector on the back of the unit which is not shown in the photo, but the output connector is on the top of this controller. A few black fittings and a fitting solved the problem.

Pros
  • Capacity: 1,400,000 Btu/hour
Cons
  • Available in black only

R622 Propane Regulator Bleed Instructions

Install R622 per user manual. Well built propane regulator. As for the upward vent, my solution was to take two 1 1/4" PVC elbows and a 2" 11/4" PVC nipple, connect them together and then use the 11/4 Knee over slot. The knee is a snug fit and no PVC glue is required. Your R622 will then vent properly as instructed. Remember to always use soapy water to check for leaks.

Pros
  • Body Sizes and End Connection Types (Inlet x Outlet): 3/4" x 3/4" FNPT
Cons
  • Cable shorter than other options
