Good price and value.

Everything was as expected - 2 moves, 4 pairs of hands. The arrows seemed very weak and I was afraid of damaging them during installation. Luckily no damage. The clock was accurate for several days when it was running. The case could have been more clearly marked with the polarity of the battery. Basically a goalkeeper.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

The perfect replacement.

I had a watch that I really liked and the mechanism of which was broken. Once I was able to dig up all the parts I wasn't sure what I needed to replace it. I kind of took a chance and it worked great! Setup was pretty easy and once set up (aligning the hands at 12 o'clock was the important part) it kept time perfectly.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Updates

Fairly easy to install

I ordered this watch and it arrived on time. I measured the length of the watch stem incorrectly so I had to cut it shorter to fit the length of my watch stem. Everything worked fine and seems to be holding up well after a week. The movement is the same as in the advertisement. The watch's second hand runs smoothly instead of ticking like most quartz watches, but I was fine with that.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing

Very nice smooth precise movement

I like that it comes with two movements and four sets of hands (although I used an existing set of hour hands for my first project). I really like that the mechanisms work silently - they don't tick. The only negative observation is that three sets of hands are very long (for a wall clock) and only one set is short enough to be used for the desk clock project which was my second project.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Some flaws

Both work, both tell the time

Used them to replace movements in two existing watches. So far so good, but I would expect them to be subject to the same problem as almost all battery powered movements of this type. The connection between the battery and the circuit board is a spring contact which will oxidize over time and weaken the connection. They could last a lot longer if they were just soldered on.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some cons

PERFECTLY PERFECTLY QUIET CLOCK MOTOR!

I can't believe someone has FINALLY invented a silent clock that doesn't tick, click or make annoying jerks. I had to install a second hand to make sure it worked and scanned without a pulse. I would rate it 5 stars but the instructions say not to use alkaline batteries. Is it even possible to buy old ones, and why on earth does it matter? It's 1.5 volts. Can the clock tell where the juice is coming from? I clicked alkaline and it works fine. But it worries me. That way I have extra gear on…

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Updates available
