When I first ordered this item, a very important detail that keeps the needle in place was left out. Exchanged for a new item. Now the part of the new product that is supposed to hold the needle in place is broken and won't screw in to hold the needle in place. It's frustrating and this product isn't worth the time it takes to wait for an order to arrive. Huge waste of time and money.

I've had other engravers and this one worked as well as any. I don't use it often, so I was disappointed that the intensity control stopped working after using it about a dozen times. Unfortunately, the return time had already expired by this time. Now the engraver is either wide open where the tip just bounces on what you are trying to engrave, or below the minimum where it really won't engrave at all.

Came in a box with a sealed lid. The bag inside was half worn. Pulled out the engraver and it looked like it had been used as there were stains on the handle like someone was holding it. I tried to insert the tip and found that the screw was not in the slot to loosen and insert the tip. I had to take a pair of pliers and twist to see the screw. Once I did that I was able to insert the tip and it worked fine. When you buy something, you expect to get a tool that's ready to use, not ready to fix…
