Quality Lightweight Hiking Pants

I travel every summer to Asia and always build some hiking into my trips. I am always torn as to what kind of gear to throw into my luggage that will not be too bulky. These hiking pants, for me, are a good choice. They are lightweight which makes them ideal for summer temperatures (I purposely chose a light color) and are easy to wash. They fit loosely which is good for scrambling over rocks and steeper climbs. As noted by other reviewers, they run a bit short. I take a 30 inch inseam and with

Pros
  • Men's hiking pants with cargo pockets. Fit smaller than expected and lightweight. Durable build.
Cons
  • The pants may be too stiff and uncomfortable for extended hikes or activities requiring a lot of movement

Perfect if you're on the shorter side!

I took these on a couple 5km rucks to see how they would hold up. First, they feel great on, the spandex is form fitting without being stuck to you, and offers free range of motion. The front pockets are canted a little differently to offer a vertical pocket, but large enough to hold a large smartphone with no issues. They're not cloth, so not that breathable, but after sweating in them, found that there was just the right amount of breath-ability and protection from the wind. They are super…

Pros
  • The pants fit me good and are made of durable lightweight material. Comfortable and good looking.
Cons
  • The sizing chart can be confusing, leading to incorrect orders and returns

Great for active wear with plenty of secure storage

The pants look fine, but they are far more about function than style. They are made for anyone who plans to be active and wants pants that fit securely but comfortably while offering a lot of secure storage options and are waterproof. These pants have plenty of pockets, many with zippers, and also places to hang/hook items for easy access. These are pants meant for extended outdoor activities such as hiking, while offering a "pulled together" appearance. They could even serve as lightweight…

Pros
  • mens
Cons
  • The fabric may not be durable enough to withstand harsh outdoor conditions

Thin but roomy - my new review

The description on these pants says "lightweight" and that is indeed correct. The material is thin but does have a bit of a fleecy back so they feel nice against bare legs. The legs of the pants are cut very wide, which is great if that's your preference. I can see these working great as over-pants to give jeans or sweatpants an extra water-resistant layer. They have cinch cords at the bottom to take up some of the bulk, but you are left with a cord loop hanging out. If you were actually…

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The pants may not be warm enough for colder outdoor conditions

Fits at the waist but not long enough for a 6’1 guy

The pants are ok. They would great light weight hiking pants (material is a little noisy as are many synthetic fabrics).I was disappointed that they were too short in the length. I prefer pants that teach the top of my feet, and these are higher than my ankles even when wearing them low.I ended up giving them to my teenage son who loves the lightweight fabric, but who has to wear themWith a belt because he’s much thinner than I am.

Pros
  • The pants are made with quick-dry technology, which ensures that they dry quickly even after being exposed to water, sweat or rain
Cons
  • The pants may wrinkle easily, leaving them looking unkempt and unprofessional

Nice light hiking pants, runs small

Size by the actual measurements listed. The picture says model is 6’ 1” with a 33” waist and is wearing a Medium, I would say he’s probably wearing a Large in the picture. I’m a 34-35 waist, but I like these type of pants to be snug around the waist so went with the M, M is WAY too tight. Lying flat, I measure the waist to be 30-30.5 inches, inseam is 28.5 inches. I understand hiking pants should run a little short, but it hard to believe the 6’1” , 33”” waist model is wearing a M in the…

Tight, but lightweight

Use: hiking. anywhere quick drying, lightweight clothing is needed.Material: lightweight, stretchy, softFeatures: drawstrings at leg openings, several pockets (some with zippers), stretchy waistband, metal ring for attachmentsSize: on the small side, for a medium, around the waist and the legs. I can still see myself wearing these for hiking, but Iike a little room to breathe.

Pros
  • The multifunctional cargo pants are suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities, from hiking and camping to fishing and hunting
Cons
  • The waterproof feature may not fully protect against heavy rain or water activities

What a pair of "hybrid " pants!

I love cargo pants because of their many pockets. Fabrics that resemble denim should be used for toughness in cargo pants, because they're work pants usually. If they're tactical pants, they should be tough, tight fitting, slick and adapted to action.Your fabric: 92% polyester, 8% spandex, is perfect for athletic and hiking pants.Seems to me that your designer wants all the above mentioned in a pair of "hybrid" pants, but somehow it doesn't work out very well. The "crescent" side pockets…

Pros
  • The pants are waterproof, which makes them ideal for use in wet conditions or during rainy weather
Cons
  • The pants may not be suitable for all climates, limiting their overall appeal

Comfortable and functional!

These Mofiz pants (product description says Jinshi) are well constructed of soft comfortable fabric. The stitching is even and the seams are finished with an overlock stitch. My partner is 5’9” tall and the length of the medium pants is perfect. It’s a relaxed fit overall and doesn’t restrict movement. His iPhone 13 Pro Max doesn’t fit into the front zippered pocket however that location on the leg is not ideal for a phone but it fits securely and comfortably into the side pockets. These pants…

Pros
  • Sport Specific Clothing
Cons
  • They may not be the most fashionable pants, lacking in style and design

Great lightweight hiking pants!

These pants are well sewn and made of quality materials. They fit as expected and are really comfortable. They retain body heat due to their waterproof nature and are warm in the fall and winter.

Pros
  • Stylish Look
Cons
  • The pants may not be machine washable, requiring special care and attention
