Rubber tabs are difficult to mount flush with mounting tabs. It works quite well for the price, but it's a bit unstable for a handheld device. I think the read button should snap in so you can focus more on the contact tip.

Perfect for what I need it for - measuring conveyor speed. Compared to my full-size tachometer, it shows much less variation in readings from the same conveyors. My only complaint is that there's no way to hold that little rubber cap up (although I don't use it for radial measurements). ). I tried sticking it on and it still came off.
