This is a handy and very delicate item; it measures up to 1/10 degree for temperature and 1% humidity. However, the manufacturer claims that it's calibrated to within 5%, which means that while it's extremely sensitive, it can also be a bit inaccurate. I haven't had a chance to check the calibration. I think it's oversold - reading the ad copy makes some claims about leak detection and such, but it's too simple a tool for the job. This is a hygrometer. It will show you the relative humidity as well as a few calculations, but that's about it. For continuous monitoring in the humidor this would be fine if not too much. But in general, that's all.
