So far, so good. for valve cover gasket kits

Perfect for my 2008 Subaru Outback. Replaced about a week ago and they matched the original gaskets exactly and fitted perfectly. Will update after riding them for a while.

  • Confident
Cons
  • Some problems

High quality valve cover!

Works great so far, about 6 weeks. I got this valve cover kit for a 2011 Subaru Outback Premium 2.5i. Fit great with no problems and no more oil loss. Item exactly as described. Thank you!

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poor instructions

No problems with Outback

I drive back and forth with felpro. They happen to work great as a replacement for my Outback. I would most likely choose Subaru or Mahle if the engine had a turbocharger simply because they are difficult to change. I recommend.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Easy to repair

just installed Forester 2008 today. The gaskets looked like the originals, the spark plug sockets are different from the originals but I think they will seal better. I suggested removing the lid gaskets. It is necessary to remove the fuel line brackets, only two screws. Otherwise pain $$$$

Pros
  • cool product
Cons

Great kit, fits perfectly

This is a complete rocker cover gasket kit which includes 4 spark plug tube gaskets, 2 preformed gasket covers and a set of grommets for the bolts used on my 2006 2.5. I didn't need an engine. Pay attention to the lid gaskets themselves, as they are EXACTLY matched to the asymmetrical shape of the lid. I actually squeezed the first side and installed it before I knew it - the other side stood up straight without pinching the gasket into the groove in the lid. Looks the same as the OEM that came

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Upgrade available

So far it's working fine!

This gasket kit was used on a Subaru Impreza 2.5i, 2009 EJ253 engine. It just fits perfectly and the spark plug seals work well. This has been installed for 2 days and is still being updated. So far I haven't seen any leaks from any part. Some might be curious if they come with gaskets for the valve cover bolts. There are no gaskets on these screws. Previous Subaru's I've owned had washers on each valve cover bolt. She doesn't have this model. It has everything you need to get the job done. The

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Safety

I ordered these for a 2008 Subaru Forester to fix misfires caused by oil leaking from the original gasket in the spark plug cavity. Oil is conductive and if it coats the spark plug it will cause problems and eventually render your car almost inoperable. They fit perfectly and work as expected. No leaks. The spark plug cavity gaskets were slightly narrower than the ones removed, but it's possible the 8 year old gaskets were just permanently crushed. They still fit well. The only limitation is…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
