Good alternative to the Clever Dripper Filter

I bought these as an alternative to the more expensive branded filters for my Clever Coffee Dripper. I first tried the regular Melitta #4 cone filters that you can find at the grocery store, but they ripped at the bottom and didn't quite fit the Clever Dripper. They fit just like the original Clevers and I've had almost no crashes, but they can be a bit slower to fully discharge. Especially if you use a finer grind. I don't notice any papery aftertaste. Overall I would recommend these to anyone

I've read reviews that say these two filters are EXACTLY the same. There aren't any, but don't worry, there's absolutely no problem with them. I will continue to use Filtropa #4 filters as they are almost the same quality and cost less than Technivorm filters. In direct comparison between them, the seams are slightly different, the notch is different, the opacity of the paper is different, and in the light, the Filtropa filter is less uniform in thickness or may turn white (visible as dark and…

If you love good coffee, BUY THESE FILTERS!

We've been using Melita #4 unbleached filters for decades. It was said a long time ago that bleached filters are bad for you or something, so we switched to unbleached ones and haven't tried anything else. We have just purchased a new Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker and are delighted with the much better tasting coffee we are now enjoying.
