As it is called 'strong hold' I was expecting a little more durability. While it shouldn't be as strong as, say, "Secondary" Can You Handlebar, I thought it could be a notch lower. Instead, I'd call it average at best. The smell is fantastic, but it's definitely not for everyone. You will love it or hate it, with no in between. People with allergies should be careful.

The product comes in a unique compact metal tin. The wax is a bit difficult to scrape off at first, and the smell is so strong it's overwhelming and literally the only thing you can smell. Speaking of smell, the smell is reminiscent of Ax's body spray. Wax is strong in that it holds your mustache quite well. If it were me, you'd start with unscented flavors first, unless you plan on sniffing Abercrombie and Fitch all day.

I've made mustache wax before, I'll give it a 10 for the scent but the strong hold isn't great Florida heat. The first day was good but I was inside, today (9/1/19) me and my family ran around town and when I got home there was no wax or uniform. I'm a bit disappointed that the kid level isn't any different than their standard mustache wax.

I bought this wax because I have used Fisticuffs Pine Wax and loved the light scent and strong hold. Although this stuff I can't bring myself to put it on my mustache because the smell is intense and overpowering. The scent reminds me of a cheap CVS cologne I bought in high school. Terrible. Really terrible and cheap/fake perfume smell. Can't return due to policy so it goes to goodwill and hopefully someone will use it as it's immaculate. Avoid this smell. Use pine wax instead.

It sucks, I love GBS beard balms and their oil. But this wax is a joke. From the scent it smells like a fresh box of crayons, I will smell the crayon on my upper lip all day. Then the next problem is that it literally doesn't last more than 10 minutes on my mustache. This even applies to dry mustaches without oil or balm. I have coarse to coarse hair but expect Strong Hold to last at least a few hours. Pass on the wax and scent.
