Broken after 20 uses

I am reviewing my review after using this bowl less than 20 times. The brim is torn at the crease although I have never folded it up and down. I used it once a week for flaxseed porridge, which takes 45 seconds in the microwave. I then wash it in the dishwasher. I believe it can still be used for this purpose but seems sensitive to high quality food grade silicon. I've never had this problem with silicone cake pans or cupcake tins, although I've used them more often and at a much higher…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Couldn't find an optimal use case for it

It's very flexible which makes it difficult to lift liquids (ramen, cereal etc.), the bowl would like to squeeze or wiggle if you squeeze and take. Not ideal for camping/hiking as it's not exactly light or tough so you have to be careful to put it down/pick it up when you have something to eat. Yes, you can roll it up to pack, but the odd shape still takes up space in your backpack. Cannot be used as a storage container in the backpack as again it is not sturdy enough and has no lid…

  • Decent performance

The right size, also graduated (cups and ml)

I carry a backpack, I'm older, so it's important to me to reduce the weight in my backpack. There's no need for a soft, capacity-matching silicone bowl that packs anywhere, whether it's a morning oatmeal, a hot drink, or a meal together. No spills, easy to clean and will keep you warm until the end. I also liked using the Guyot Designs silicone bowl at 770ml/26oz but this Humangear bowl while a bit under capacity (700ml/3 cups to the brim) is more than enough and with graduation it can be used…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others
