Must-have light, good for aquarium lights

This light is perfect for those who have an aquarium with plants. The app comes with presets that control its brightness and spectrum each day, or you can create your own. My plants have gone from dying to thriving.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Negative present

Best Planted Aquarium Light

I have two Fluval 3.0 lights as well as several other brands (Current, Finnex, Nicrew, Aqueon, Hygger etc etc). In my opinion, Fluval is the best grow light in this price range.

Pros
  • Grand Prize
Cons
  • Reliability

Bright, light and very water resistant

Fluval always has the best lights and I have several timer lights for different parts of the house. One thing they've done more recently is add a power button instead of the Bluetooth feature, making it easier if you want to turn it off and on again after cleaning the tank.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Secret

Great setup

I started with a cheap Nicrew light but there was no plant growth on my 3 gallon light. Decided to pay extra just for this light. I see the plants growing again. The app is great and allows you to fully customize brightness, color and time. Go to YouTube and copy custom lighting settings based on your plants and what you will be doing.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Suitable for living plants

Good light for a planted aquarium. I would like more size options because you get low light in some aquariums. For example, for my 20" wide aquarium, the light is only 15". My 36" tank has a full size 36" light which is much better. I think the app has room for improvement. I have two of these lamps in different sizes and would buy them again.

Pros
  • Beautiful piece

  • Appearance

You get what you pay for.

Nice light. It's sleek and sleek over the tank with solid metal construction and amazing lighting. Lighting profiles switch seamlessly from off to day and night and look much more attractive than the standard on and off system. Do you really need smartphone-controlled aquarium lighting? no Will you still be glad you have it? Definitely.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

I love this series of flashlights

I love these flashlights. I wish they sold spacers for them. They get a little warm, so I don't like them right on the lid. It's also a good idea to place them 3-5 inches from the surface so the light spreads across the surface for floating plants. Amazing UI on phones. Well done. I love these lights, I have 4 of them in different sizes. Highly recommended. Plants seem to grow very well with them.

Definitely worth your time and money

I was arguing between this and Twinstar but in the end since I've had Fluval 1.0 for a long time I'd try the improved features of 3.0. Unfortunately, due to my daily schedule (4pm to 12am) I was not able to use the transition features as I can't use them to transition to the next day, but I still like the light. He's definitely bright. Allows you to control the color temperature. The only issue I have with these lights is that they really need to be raised at least 4 inches from the top of the…
