This is a must have for the Fenix 5 watch. I really hate the Finix 5's charging port. You have to keep the charging port clean, but since it's recessed into the watch, that's almost impossible. The plugs work great to keep salty sweat out of the charging port.

Not entirely sure if this is necessary but I wanted to fill the charging port so it doesn't trap water next to my skin after washing my hands and you did. I don't care about the colors as no one will ever see them, but the color pack was cheaper than the all black pack so here's the thing. They stay in place and don't let water seep into the port, so I consider the purchase a good one.

This inexpensive piece of plastic does exactly what I wanted - it keeps the metal parts of the charging port from touching my skin and causing a rash. I wear my Garmin A LOT. So when I started getting a rash right where the charging port was, I had to do something fast. Luckily I found this little case. The problem is solved. And it comes with multiple caps because you're going to lose one, two, or three.

Does what it says on the tin and gives you lots of color options. The fit of the connector is excellent and I used it every day on my Garmin 5s for about two months. I found it completely discreet (exactly how I wanted it) and not inconvenient at all during normal wear or during exercise/activity. Outdoors (camping, hiking, etc.), I like that the charging port is completely sealed from dust and debris. My wife also put one on her Vivoactive and it works well there too.

Looks great and conceptual. However, with regular use I think it's just cold sweat and dirt on the metal contacts. However, I use my watch all the time. And never take it off except to charge. Water from the shower with soapy dirt gets in. I take this on long dusty hikes with excessive sweat as well as on the sandy ocean. I work in the yard and dig up the earth. I prefer to just clean the entire clock rather than using those plastic covers to hide the dirt. However, I think I'm pretty rough…
