Too bad I didn't buy this sooner. The original fan made a "cricket" noise at low speed. He did this from time to time for about a year. I wasn't sure what the exact reason was, but there are a few people showing how to replace this part on YouTube. It was easy. It took about 15 minutes. No more cricket noise. This new four-season engine actually seems a little more efficient than the original. More cold air comes out of the ventilation slots.

If you have problems with the fan motor, be sure to remove it to check if the mouse is dead. In my research, this seemed to be more of a problem. It was definitely mine. After removing and cleaning I noticed I had cut the wire right where it enters the motor. Does the job but makes annoying high-pitched noise at low speeds. My old fan had some noise at higher RPMs, but was mostly quite loud at low RPMs. This one is so annoying that I had to send the old one back even though I didn't want to install it twice. Just installed this fan on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The price is very good (more than half the price compared to the local parts store) for someone on a budget.
