2005 Jeep Grand C 5.7L Limited.

Too bad I didn't buy this sooner. The original fan made a "cricket" noise at low speed. He did this from time to time for about a year. I wasn't sure what the exact reason was, but there are a few people showing how to replace this part on YouTube. It was easy. It took about 15 minutes. No more cricket noise. This new four-season engine actually seems a little more efficient than the original. More cold air comes out of the ventilation slots.

Low price but noisy/poorly packaged.

I bought this and another one from Boxi. I installed this one first as it was made in Canada I thought the quality was good. The packaging was very bad. Just dropped in a fairly flimsy box with no plastic or packaging. The cell was not found ideally. There are no balancing clips. It was lighter than Boxi. Turned it on and immediately heard an unpleasant noise. Pulled it out and installed the Boxi brand. The Boxy was very well packaged, had balance clamps on a pair of fins and was quiet at all…

Fits perfectly in my 2007 Jeep Commander.

If you have problems with the fan motor, be sure to remove it to check if the mouse is dead. In my research, this seemed to be more of a problem. It was definitely mine. After removing and cleaning I noticed I had cut the wire right where it enters the motor. I didn't have enough wires to resolder everything and I definitely didn't want to buy an OEM version from Mopar. It was between this aftermarket engine and some on eBay that got scrapped. Went this route because of Prime Shipping. It…

Works but noisy at low speed.

Does the job but makes annoying high-pitched noise at low speeds. My old fan had some noise at higher RPMs, but was mostly quite loud at low RPMs. This one is so annoying that I had to send the old one back even though I didn't want to install it twice. Note that the new fan in the picture has multiple holes while the old fan is one piece. I'm not sure what the new design is for, but I suspect it's the reason for the high noise I'm hearing. Can leaves that get into the engine through the…

Good price, good details

Just installed this fan on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The price is very good (more than half the price compared to the local parts store) for someone on a budget. After figuring out how to remove the glove box I had to loosen 3 screws, take out the old fan, disconnect it from the terminal, put in the new fan, reinstall the 3 screws and connect the new fan. (Tip for those upgrading into a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Removing the glove box is easier than it sounds. Open the glove box, pull off the
