How do they design a case that doesn't match their instruction manual?

I like the case and it seems to be of very high quality. My only concern is that you will have to fold the manual to store it with the device. Come on guys! Either enlarge the case or shrink the manual so it can be kept with the scanner. They have a slot for paper documents, but it's clearly not intended for a user/operator's manual.

Good solid case.

Bought for my Foxwell NT301 meter. It has a lot of space, and you can even put a meter guide inside. This is a good case that protects the meter and makes it easy to carry. This is a hard case, not soft. Suppose it collapses under the weight. I don't know how much and I don't want to try. I think 100 pounds or so. There is a zipper to open it, I believe it's nylon. It also has a central divider and shoulder straps on one side. I put the papers in there.

This case is perfect for NT301

Foxwell NT301 is perfect for this case. I had to fold some of the booklets in half to fit snugly in the case, but that doesn't matter. The work is beautifully done. "Foxwell" is printed on the front, and it's hard enough to protect the scanner, but soft enough to be thrown around in the car without damaging anything. Overall, this is the perfect combo for regular people who only need it from time to time. No instructions are required for either product. plug and play

Suspension system debugging supported

This did exactly what I wanted. I was interested in a Denali Sierra 1500 suspension failure. It had the ability to scan all elements in the system (each shock absorber has a control sensor and a data sensor for the position of the shock absorber in all 4 corners). He also had the software to tune the sensors, which is required when changing shocks. It's also possible to view the data over time, which would be useful for getting real data while driving, although I haven't done so. If a person…

STOP THINKING, BUY FOXWELL

This code reader, battery and alternator tester from Foxwell are the tools you should invest in. It will lead you straight to the source of the engine problem. My car started but wouldn't start. The code reader told me the problem was bank 1 and 2. 3 opinions told me to look for sensors #1, connectors #2 and wiring #3. That was my wiring. I change the sensor, connector and cut the wiring. My car started great. Checked again, Bank #1/#2 is OK now. Now I'm working on the crankshaft wiring…

Works great.

Given away for Christmas. I always work on my cars and it saves money. Had to use it as soon as I got it. Found a bad crankshaft sensor. I bought a spare and replaced it in 15 minutes. Defiantly saved the bill for repairs at the store. I like that it actually says which part to replace with the specified code. Saves a lot of time searching codes on Google. It also reports the status of the entire vehicle. I found out I had a bad O2 sensor that never triggered the check engine light. Thank you…

I wish it was easier to get results

I assume the higher models in this range are easier to use but this is an entry level device. I had trouble printing my outlier test (actually just saving it as a PDF), but while it's REALLY easy to do the test (one button), trying to send the results anywhere is a struggle. The only known output is printing, but I can't print just the emission data. Assuming the data is saved (another problem), it prints out all possible numbers instead. Basically, I just want to see the same screen that the…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Half of the information on this listing page and in questions and reviews relates to the associated odb- Scanner with some things mentioning the case. It seems to be for the scanner on a few iterations of the listing. Revain often combines reviews and questions about similar products. The list I bought was just a case. The title and image, and three-quarters of the information included, is for a specific model of scanner that would fit in the case, giving the impression that it is a kit. I…
