Best for my windows in window insulation kits

The windows in my house are narrow and tall. Almost 6 feet tall. This means that traditional window films are not high enough and create an inordinate amount of waste. This product appears to minimize waste and be easy to install. it will be easier for me to cut. I will still buy it again as it matches my windows.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some little things

Suitable for high city windows

I had to close several windows in a city apartment with high ceilings and therefore tall windows. The standard sized rolls created a lot of waste, while this longer film easily covered tall windows with minimal waste. I agree with other reviewers, it's not the clearest film, but it doesn't matter to my application. After a few months of strong wind and sub-zero temperatures, the product will work normally. Make sure you buy a bundle of tape because all you get is a roll of film in a box.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Not as clear as 3m, use more tape than you need

This material works well but is not as sharp as the 3m film I used on another window. Also, get more tape than you think you'll need (measure your windows H+W*2 and add 6 inches to each). I was missing half a roll and the window was half done and had to sit like this for several days until another roll was ready. Also works best when the tape is parallel to the film (flat against the window pane) otherwise wind pressure can affect the film Tear the film off the tape more easily.

  • Pleasant

  • Mystery

Oh yeah! best building supplies

It's hard to find a product these days that sells for the truth. I'm a shopper who cares more about quality than quantity and values frugality. This product is exactly as advertised. It is flexible, durable and easy to install. I read reviews and took someone's suggestion to get double sided tape from 3M which made it very easy. One roll is enough for 5 standard size windows. I think my windows could be 32-33 inches wide and 63 inches long. It covered the 2 back and 2 front bedroom windows and…

No more wind in our living room!

Had to buy this after a contractor ruined our new windows. We live in Wisconsin and the breeze in our living room wasn't right in the -20 degree wind. We have a large window unit that is 10.5 feet long and 5.5 feet high. This plastic worked great. We also used it for a smaller window by simply cropping it to fit. I had trouble finding a roll big enough for a large window and loved it. Note on other reviews: if you take the time to use a hair dryer, it shrinks enough to look transparent. It's…

It's right here! Save money and energy and feel more comfortable.

This weather protection film is really good. It was easy to work with and works so well. Starting at the corner of the foil (like opening a cold medicine), peel off the foil to separate the folded piece of foil. The amount of shrink wrap is incredibly large. We had to close 2 French doors plus 4 windows and we still have some left. The price for this amount of sealing film is unbeatable. I did a lot of research and found this. You don't need better quality. You will need double-sided adhesive…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Some bugs

This is my second time buying this product. We have used it at my parents' house in Pennsylvania for many years. You have a home in Forino, which, knowing the builders of Pennsylvania, means you have to admit that it's not known for quality construction. The windows that come with the house let in a lot of air if you don't upgrade. We used a tube of window sealant along the outside edge of the frame and then used this awesome plastic wrap with 3M Indoor Insulator Film Mounting Tape, also…

  • This is amazing

Compare with brand name

I've been using interior window film in winter since the mid 80's - it prevents condensation from forming on the inside of my windows even when it's -20 degrees and also provides extra warmth in the absence of cold zones in the Vicinity. Window. I have had good and bad experiences with different brands - maybe this review will help you with your purchase decision. My top priority for this type of innershrink film is that it be obvious - this roll is below par. I've had good and bad from a major
