Great camera, just like the F550 but without the GPS!

I've tried both the F500 and F505 and the F505 is currently much cheaper on Revain ($149 for the F505 vs $190 for the F500). The F505 is the same camera as the F550EXR Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR 16 MP CMOS digital camera with Fujinon 15x ultra wide-angle zoom lens and GPS geo-tagging, but without GPS geo-tagging. The F500 is also physically the same as the F505, but comes with "slimmed down" firmware. You lose the ability to capture a RAW image, and the size of the 360° horizontal panorama is…

Best camera for the price

I've never bothered to write a review for any product I buy here, but this camera is an exception: it's just (almost) perfect. Please see other five star reviews for a detailed idea of how great the camera is. I can only agree with many of them, I will add a few points that I like about this camera. 1. The zoom is pretty sharp and fast for the size of the camera. I carry it in my pocket and it doesn't feel bulky at all.2. The automated features are great, but if you're happy to experiment with…

F550EXR but no GPS

My parents used it with their old Nikon Coolpix 5200 (which I'm reclaiming) so I jumped at this offer when a used one was available in the Amazon warehouse for only $77 (including taxes). The camera does wonders in low light and the photos are great for browsing the web. The camera itself is essentially the F500EXR, which can shoot RAW, 8fps (according to the website) and has bracketing modes. You can also think of it as the F550EXR without GPS. At first I was concerned that, like the test…

so far so good: memory cards

I like this camera so far. I bought this for a photography class I'm taking next semester and have used it more times than I thought I would. Pros: Comes with a free 4GB SD card. Has a GREAT picture which is really important! The picture is better than my grandmother's Fujifilm, which she paid $400 for and I only paid $160 for. Has many different settings. If you switch it to extended mode, it has seamless panning. Most panorama settings require you to take three shots and try to line them up…

Excellent camera, had to send mine in for repair

Overall the camera is excellent. It has a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor that is well-suited for most amateur photographers who just need something for everyday shooting. I took some great pictures for my website with this camera. What made me buy it was that it came with a very fast 4GB class SD card. This camera supports 1080p HD video and also supports HDMI output and is not mini HDMI. It still supports AV over USB, which is good for those who still have an old TV and want to showcase their photos

Great camera, the best in computers and accessories

This is by far the best little camera I've had. (and I'm not a spring baby) I'm not a photographer but I love it when my photos are sharp, crisp and focused. The EXR setting does a fantastic job. The zoom lens exceeded my expectations and as a VCR it's great. I like that I can take still pictures while recording video. It's small enough to fit in the back pocket of your jeans. I found the battery life to be pretty good. (Turning the camera off when not in use instead of giving it time and…
