I have to use this to believe it - I fill up a boat with a 6 gallon jerry can and it's easier and faster than trying to get a fast disengaging fill nozzle to run bring to. Insert the metal end into the full tank and the bare end into the empty (bottom) tank and shake the hose as close to the metal part as possible. That's all.

I've had one for over 20 years and have lost it, back then it was called the 'wiggle' and never amazes people when I use it to empty gas tanks, water that collects on lids, or just to transfer from a large jerry can to another container. Every vehicle or car needs one on board for emergencies.

I needed instructions and didn't have any. I looked at a similar product "Hopkins 10801 Flo Tool" which told me three things: (a) put the copper end in the transfer fluid, (b) wiggle the copper end up and down, and (c) if that doesn't work , wiggle the copper end in hot, soapy water for a while to remove the grease left after making it. With all the success!

I keep my boat on a lift and to save money I fuel it up. Transplanting from a can to a boat is painful - until I tripped over it. Now all I have to do is place the gas bottle next to the filler neck, open the cap, install the hose and pump a few times. After a few minutes, the ball will stop rattling and you're done! I can't believe I've never seen them before because they work great!

This is an ingeniously simple tool that does the job perfectly! Saw it on Dirt Everyday and ordered it immediately. The mechanism uses a ball in the intake nozzle that pumps fuel when you shake the hose (the end of the nozzle in a full tank), causing fuel to flow through the hose into the tank being filled. I also like the larger diameter hose than my other siphon which really cuts refill time. It also says made in America! Very satisfied.

I've tried several and this was the only one that worked properly. This is required when draining/refilling the vehicle's fuel tank. Forget the two-hose method if you don't like the taste of gas. The smaller squeeze bulbs only work if you try on something smaller with a small filler or tank, e.g. a mower, chainsaw, etc. I'm trying to work on my Land Cruiser's fuel system and I need to drain the tank. . It worked the first time. Transfers 15 gallons in a few minutes.

I had no idea how this siphon would work but it's very simple once I figured it out. I always try to stop to help stuck drivers.
