My minimum standard for a gear bag is "over the top". This bag exceeds that standard and lives up to my ideal of "ridiculously redesigned". Excess is the best word to describe this product. The outer shell has a semi-rigid wall with numerous shallow pockets. Inside there is a zipper insert. I can't think of a reason to remove this lining, so why the zipper? Inside there is a soft lining with two flat pockets that are only accessible after removing the lining.
