Why have I never had a set like this before!

This is a must! I've been playing around to find different types of pliers to get stuck in forever! I bought a straight set and a curved set and have yet to find a clamp I can't get to. I should have bought these years ago.

Pros
  • handsfree
Cons
  • unreliable

They barely work - snap ring pliers

Bought for professional use as a diesel technician, I still use regular pliers. They are bulky and the ratchet is so cumbersome that it cannot be easily disengaged with a little tension from the clamp. Save money and buy another pair while I go.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Nothing here

GET A GRIP is good for hand tools

I should have bought these pliers years ago. I've always struggled with standard pliers and needle nose pliers. So many times I've just slipped off the yoke or squeezed it a little to get the hose off. Well, no more boys and girls. These pliers do the job. Did I mention the price is right?

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Volume

one of the most used pliers

One of the most used pliers in my tool box. This saves you the headache of removing the spring clips. They also snap into place so you can reattach the clamp when you're done without removing it from the pliers. I would give this tool 10 stars if I could. It's a mechanic's best friend

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Wrist Protectors LOL - Pliers

I love these things. No more broken connections when the pliers slip off the line. They are specially made to have a good groove and notch to hold the clamp tight and as an added bonus they have a good latch so they don't come loose when you let go of the handle. I don't know how many times I've broken my knuckles or smashed a pair of pliers on my finger when the clamp slipped off the pliers. Those days are over. THANKS RAINMAN RAY for the suggestion.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not sure

Disappointing. for hand tools

Great design but average to poor execution. The material the pliers are made of (alloy and/or gauge) is not strong enough or "stiff" enough, so there is a lot of flexibility when attempting to remove or install a factory spring clamp (especially larger diameter radiator hose clamps) . . The handles flex and touch before the clip opens wide enough to attach or detach the hose. The material needs to be thicker, more heavily alloyed, heat treated, or forged to get the job done.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some small things

Best Price in Power & Hand Tools

Haven't used them yet but checked. Seems durable and good price. I'm skeptical about instruments made outside of the US. Most of mine are made in the USA. It's the old Craftsman, Mac and Snap-on. I can't afford them at today's prices. and I know that Craftsman are now making us in China too. I have been selling flea markets part-time for over 20 years. I have sold thousands of unbranded hand tools made in China and many of them are made in Taiwan. They were very cheap but I sold them as quickly

Pros
  • Free for Educational Use
Cons
  • Contact Seller
