Needs sharpening upon receipt

I was a bit disappointed when they arrived I couldn't even punch a hole in the paper. I sharpened them with a belt sander and sharpened them with a dremel. After that, they went through the 1/8" rubber gasket like clockwork.

Don't save money. Doesn't cut anything!

Doesn't cut anything! I've tried cutting paper, plastic, cloth, wool, cloth, thin cork wood and more. I've tried a nylon mallet, a rubber mallet, and a regular mallet with no success. I've also tried different finishes with the same terrible results! I am sending these back. The punch I bought at the dollar store worked much better. Don't waste your money on this POC!

Durable and sharp. The bag is cheap.

I bought this kit to punch 1/2" neoprene and 1/5" felt into 1" circles. They are glued together to make the stops for the organ console pedal I restore. The blows are strong, sharp and hold well. However, two things are important for optimal application: 1) Use a rubber mallet. You need the mass of the hammer to be effective. A hammer makes the job easier 2) Hit your fist on a piece of wood on a hard, immovable surface. I use a sheet of plywood for concrete. One tree isn't enough. If it's on a…
