Excellent GM quality. Passed through very easily. Complete sentence. But be safe and use genuine GM sealant on your installation. No need to drop the oil pan. Use GMS 10-2010 for your sealing.

found cheaper versions of this product but as a mechanic I replaced a couple of these seals and found they match the original brand. So spend a few extra bucks to buy genuine gaskets and get the job done once. I'm just saying.

Great product. Updated design. I fixed my rear leak in a 2001 Silverado 5.3 4x4 that had been getting progressively worse over the past 6 years. Bad enough that I stopped making long trips just because I was afraid of losing too much oil. Installation was pretty easy. Pulling out the transfer case and transmission is a lot of work for those of you who want to do it. This can be done in a full day, but will likely take you two days and an assistant.
