Ideal in preparation for all-purpose cleaner

This was recommended to me by a professional painter I painted 5 rooms. He used a Krud cutter on all the paneling and 15 doors, including the double sliding doors for the closets. I planned on painting some myself and asking him to prepare the satin finishes and doors. He showed me this product and as far as I know it works great. It cuts off the shine enough for the next coat to stick and cleans it at the same time. No grinding, no chipping and no mess. I will buy it again when I need to paint

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

Throw away the sandpaper!

Repainting the doors and moldings in the house. I found this with some research. I decided to try to prepare the doors. That worked great for my application. Pour some cutting compound into a bucket, about 16 ounces. That was enough to easily open 10 doors. I used masking tape to apply. But I didn't have to use force. Just wiped. After wiping the entire side with a cutter, I reached the end and started wiping it with a damp cloth. Took me 6 minutes either side of a door. It would have taken a…

Patience pays off!

This rating is based on the painting of oak kitchen cabinets. Replace full grind (some grinding is inevitable). You need to be patient while using this product, but it's worth it. I placed this in a small plastic bucket/shoe box and soaked in green Scotch Scour Pads. Use some elbow grease, but really wipe it all down. For best results, leave on for at least an hour (you CAN do 30 minutes, but I find an hour is most effective). Replace Crowdcutter with hot water from Don. Dip some clean scouring

Pros
  • Water based, non-toxic, biodegradable, non-flammable and xylene free
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Great cleaner for home cleaning

Seriously, this is a great cleaner. My kitchen looked small and untidy so I wanted to paint the cabinets, but after using the Krud Kutter I hardly had to paint. I wouldn't be without the chips on the edges of cabinets and doors. After cleaning them all with KK my sister said my kitchen looks so amazing. She said my closets looked almost new. I'm not joking. I just moved in here and wiped them all down but there seemed to be very little dirt on the surface. Doesn't matter. Anyway since I chipped

Pros
  • Safe for use at home and at work
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Less effort and time than buffing

I am currently expecting my first child with my husband. When we found out about this, I immediately realized that we have a lot of housework to do to prepare for the birth of a child. Our house was built in the 50's, it has lots of natural wood, heavily varnished surfaces and hollow doors. The previous owners painted some of the trim white, some of the doors white, and I knew I wanted all of the trim white. I also read that you can upgrade your house and make it more expensive if the doors are

Pros
  • Super concentrated ready to use formula
